Why Attend?

Redundancies and furloughs have been a key feature of COVID-19 and as a result, managers are having to have more and more difficult conversations with their employees. These are made all the more strenuous because they’re taking place virtually. The use of Zoom can often create an emotional disconnect which makes everyone feel uncomfortable. This session can help you make sure that doesn’t happen.

After this session, you will be able to:
  • Inform employees of changes in their job (e.g. furloughed) in a professional yet compassionate manner.

  • Convey sincerity and emotion through a screen.

  • Ensure all parties are able to communicate effectively and be heard.

  • Leave the session better prepared to deal with any difficult conversations that may come your way.
