The last 12 months have not been fun. We’ve been trapped in social isolation, unable to see friends or family, as a once-in-a-generation pandemic swept the globe. Many have tried to make the best of it but for some, the pandemic has pushed their mental health into a downward spiral ending in depression. This is a complex illness whose effects are still not fully understood nor appreciated. At People Vision, we want to change this and educate as we can to the debilitating impact of depression, and with that aim we’ve put together this session for employers and employees alike.
After this session, you will be able to:
Understand the mental and physical impact of depression.
Recognise the signs that an individual is battling with depression.
Talk compassionately with sufferers and decide how best to help them with their specific circumstances.
