Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) Half Day Awareness Course
This MHFA England accredited three-hour session raises awareness of mental health.
It is designed to give:

An understanding of what mental health is and how to challenge stigma

A basic knowledge of some common mental health issues

An introduction to looking after their own mental health and maintaining wellbeing

Confidence to offer support someone in distress or who may be experiencing a mental health issue
The interactive session enables delegates to understand signs and symptoms and how to confidently talk to a colleague about it, then to signpost them to appropriate professional help through presentation, discussion, and exercises.

Format
Half day online course
Learning takes place across three hours with a 15 minute break. It is delivered through a mix of online presentation, film clips, case studies and small group discussions.
We create a safe and inclusive environment where people feel comfortable to explore challenging topics.
We limit numbers to 15 people per course so that the instructor can keep people safe and supported while they learn.
