  • What is a TUPE transfer? Be able to confidently explain what a TUPE transfer is, what it consists of and why it is a valuable process. 

  • Business transfer or service transfer? Understand fully what the difference between these two transfers are, how they affect employees in different ways and just how different these two transfers are different. 

Changing Terms and Conditions 

  • TUPE obligations. Do you know what the TUPE obligations are? Fully understand what they mean and how they impact you and your workforce. Know how to use them effectively in the correct situations. 

  • Employee liability. Do you know and understand what employee liability is? Learn the depths of employee liability when it comes to TUPE, understand it and be able to use it to your team’s advantage. 

  • Practical steps. What are the practical steps of TUPE? Fully understand and be able to explain what the practical steps of TUPE are, what they mean and why they are needed. 

  • Legal logistics. It is extremely important to know the legal logistics of TUPE. Be able to confidently explain what the logistics are, how to abide by them and WHY they are in place.

  • Personal assumptions and prejudice. It is extremely important to know the difference between these two. Fully understand and be able to explain what personal assumptions and prejudice mean, how it happens and what you can do to address and prevent it. 

  • Objective v Subjective. What do people mean when they describe things as objective or subjective? Learn the definition of these two words and how to deal with both in an effective manner.
