Other benefits and challenges
The delivery style is very participative, using real examples drawn from the situations and contexts of those present.

At each stage participants practice each key stage of process mapping, as well as discussing the various pros and cons of each stage, in the context of their own situations.
Each participant receives a workbook that not only contains all the reference material but also all the activities, so each participant creates their own meaning a records in their own workbook to take away.
The final activity involves bringing it all together by mapping a real organisation process, in small groups, so that there is some immediate return on investment on the course. In this activity participants will see for themselves some of the interpersonal dynamics and challenges that arise when people get together to map something – potential conflicts due to each having a different perspective. The final learning here is the need to focus on the facts and treat people with respect in order to achieve the desired outcome.
