There are many forms of Executive Development. For the purpose of this website we would like to mention our two favourites:

What Is Coaching?
There are many coaching providers in the marketplace. People Vision subscribe to the CIPD’s definition of coaching:
It focuses on current and future performance/behavior and skill base.
- It is used to address a wide range of issues. Personal issues may be discussed, but the emphasis is on performance at work.
- It provides people with feedback on both their strengths and weaknesses.
- It is time-bounded.
- Coaching activities have both organizational and individual goals.
In a 2006 CIPD Learning and Development report it suggests that 79% of respondent organisations use coaching activates. We believe this demonstrates the value that coaching brings to an organization.
In our experience, the key themes that emerge during executive coaching are:
- Team cohesion
- Changing behaviours
- Raising profiles and Influencing a power base
- Goal setting
- Cultural differences
What are the Benefits of Coaching?
Executive Coaching is relevant and beneficial at several points in an employee’s working life:

- Promotion into a new role
- When performance has come to a plateau
- Preparation and grooming for a new role
- Enhancing employee talent
